Lens Guide
Q: Can you see clearly through the lens?
A: Absolutely! At Skoggl, we blend performance and style. Even with designs on the lens, they’re carefully crafted to never obstruct your vision, so you never miss a moment of your adventure. In certain light, subtle outlines may appear, but our lenses are designed to deliver top performance without compromising your view.
Q: What lens should I pick?
A: Follow the guide below to choose the right lens for your conditions.
Lens Type | VLT | Ideal Conditions |
---|---|---|
Sunny Skies | 17% | Best for bright and sunny conditions. |
All Weather | 31% | Best for mixed conditions. |
Q: What is VLT?
A: VLT, or Visible Light Transmission, measures the amount of visible light that can pass through a lens and be detected by the eye. Represented as a percentage, the lower the number, the darker the lens tint, making it better suited for bright sunlight.
Q: Do they have UV protection? Are they anti-fog?
A: Our spherical lenses mimic the eye’s natural curve, offering wide peripheral vision and reduced glare. Each lens has been tested in conditions down to -40°C and delivers anti-fog performance, UV 400 protection, scratch resistance, and dual-layer durability.
